MAINTENANCE
Fault Diagnosis
If you require a Mira trained service engineer or agent, refer to section: ‘Customer
Services’.
Symptom Cause / Rectication
Water too hot or too
cold.
Inlets reversed (hot supply to cold supply). Rework inlet
pipework (refer to 'Specications').
Check the lters for any blockage (refer to 'Maintenance').
Maximum temperature setting ( refer to 'Commissioning' )
If you have a combination type boiler it may not be
producing sufciently hot water at desired ow rate
(refer to 'Specications'). Fit ow regulator to shower
valve outlet (contact Mira Showers or visit the website
if required).
Installation conditions outside operating parameters, refer
to sections: ‘Specications’ and ‘Commissioning’.
Poor temperature
control.
Make sure that the inlet temperature differentials are
sufcient, refer to section: ‘Specications’.
Fluctuating or reduced
ow.
Check the shower handset, hose and filters for any
blockage.
Set at Eco position. Press the override button and rotate
knob.
Make sure that the maintained inlet pressures are
nominally balanced and sufficient, refer to section:
‘Specications’.
Air lock or partial blockage in the pipework.
Water leaking from
shower handset.
Normal for a short period after shut off.
Check that the pressures are not in excess of the
specications for the product.
Thermostatic cartridge inlet seals damaged, renew.
Renew the ow cartridge.
